Jake Morris

Jake Morris has a long history of work experience in the education and software industries. Jake began their career in 1999 as a Technical Writing Intern for Management by Information. Jake was promoted to Senior Technical Writer for the entire software company in the same year. In 2005, they began working as an AP English Teacher for Pulaski County Special School District (PCSSD), where they were also the Department Chair for the English department. From 2010 to 2021, they worked as an AP English Teacher for the Little Rock School District, where they also coached the state champion Ethics Bowl team for seven consecutive season wins. In 2021, they began working as an Education Content Administrator for BloomBoard, Inc.

Jake Morris attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 1995 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing. Jake then returned to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Master of Arts - MA in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing. Jake also attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello from 2005 to 2006, where they earned a Master of Arts - MA in Secondary Education and Teaching.
