Laura Gallon

Laura Gallon, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Editor at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, managing the Linguistics and Language Education books list since November 2021. Concurrently, Laura holds the position of Research Associate at the University of Sussex, focusing on short form writing by migrant authors and developing an upcoming book, "Migrant Women Writers and the Short Story in North America." Previous roles include Managing Editor of Excursions Journal, Research Placement at the British Library, and various educational positions at the University of Sussex and Lycée Emile Littré. Laura holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Sussex, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in English and American Studies from Université Rennes 2.
