Lisa Krok

Lisa Krok currently serves as the Adult & Teen Services Manager at Morley Library, where responsibilities include serving on the DEIA board committee of the Northeast Ohio Regional Library System and presenting at the ALA Annual Conference 2023. Krok is also an author, having published "Novels in Verse for Teens: A Guidebook with Activities for Teachers and Librarians" in 2020, focusing on using novels in verse to engage marginalized teens and reluctant readers. Previous roles include Book Reviewer for Kirkus Reviews, Branch Manager at Cleveland Public Library and Akron-Summit County Public Library, and Head of Youth Services at Hudson Library and Historical Society. Krok holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University, a Master of Education from Notre Dame College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University.
