Susan Ashdown

Susan Ashdown is an Emerita Professor and the Helen G. Canoyer Professor of Human Ecology at Cornell University, where the academic career has spanned from 1980 to present, including roles as Instructor, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor. In addition, Susan Ashdown has been a textbook author for Bloomsbury Publishing Plc since January 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Design and Shop Manager at Milwaukee Repertory Theater from 1975 to 1980. Susan Ashdown holds a Ph.D. in Apparel from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Arts in Functional Apparel Design from Cornell University, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts from Grinnell College.
