Amy Maurer

Lead Occupational Therapist at Blossom Children's Center

Amy Maurer, MS, OTRL has extensive experience in occupational therapy. Amy currently works at Blossom Children's Center as a Lead Occupational Therapist and Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Prior to that, they completed fieldwork at Spectrum Health as an OT Level II Fieldwork Student and at Beaumont Health as an OT Level II Fieldwork Student. Amy also gained experience as an OT Level I Fieldwork Student at Holland Hospital, Grand Rapids Children's Museum, and Hudsonville Early Childhood Center. In addition, Amy has worked as a Group Leader at Olivia's Gift. Before entering the field of occupational therapy, they served as a Student Athlete Academic Tutor, Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University.

Amy Maurer, MS, OTRL obtained their Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Grand Valley State University between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Promotion from Michigan State University from 2014 to 2018. Amy has additional certifications including being an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), and holding Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
