Mykk Mead

Mykk Mead has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. From 2008 to 2009, Mykk worked at the Laser & Dermatology Institute of California as a Clerical Secretary. From 2005 to 2012, Mykk was an Assistant Store Manager at GaryAngelica, where they specialized in luxury brand names and premium denim sales. As a self-employed artist from 2001 to 2013, Mykk focused on Pop/Pop Surrealist Painting and participated in solo and group exhibitions. At Artifact from 2015 to 2017, Mykk served as an Assistant Store Manager, overseeing buying, sales projections, employee training, and floor merchandising. From 2017 to 2018, Mykk was the owner of Maripoll, managing all aspects of the business from conception to profitability. At West Elm from 2019 to 2022, Mykk held multiple roles, including Design Team Lead and Visual Merchandiser, handling clienteling, floor plans, visual execution, sales operations, and customer service. Most recently, Mykk joined Blu Dot in 2022 as a Trade Design Sales professional.

Mykk Mead attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2004 for Fashion/Apparel Design but did not complete a degree. From 2003 to 2006, Mykk Mead studied General Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, also without obtaining a degree.
