Karen McConnell

Karen McConnell has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Karen started their career at Ball Aerospace in 1998 as a Spacecraft Engineering Director and remained in this role until 2021. In 2021, they joined Blue Canyon Technologies as an Executive Director for Smallsats, a position they held until March 2023. In June 2022, they took on the role of Executive Director for Engineering at Blue Canyon Technologies.

Karen McConnell attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Karen then pursued further education at Stanford University, where they received a Master of Science degree in the same field from 1994 to 1995.
