Adam Jacobs

CISO, VP of Cybersecurity and IT at Blue Cedar

Adam Jacobs has worked in the IT and cybersecurity field since 1999. Adam began their career at Oracle Corporation as a Principal Program Manager. In 2006, they moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate. In 2007, they took on the role of Information Security Officer at Contra Costa Community College District. In 2010, they became the Manager of IT Operations at Ensenda. In 2011, Adam joined Mocana Corporation and held three roles: Vice President of Customer Success and IT, Senior Director of IT, and IT Director. In 2016, they moved to Blue Cedar Networks as the Vice President of Solution Architecture and IT. Finally, in 2017, Adam joined Sandia National Laboratories as a Solutions Architect (Principal). In 2022, they became the CISO, VP of Cybersecurity and IT at Blue Cedar.

Adam Jacobs attended Harvard University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained an A.B. in Computer Science. Adam then attended Stanford University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained an M.S. in Computer Science. In December 2003, they obtained the CISSP certification from ISC2.
