Jennifer Kelly

Vice President, Human Resources at Blue Grass Airport

Jennifer Kelly has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on managerial roles. Jennifer began their career at The Jockey Club in 1998 as a Human Resources Manager, overseeing various HR functions across the company. During their time there, they successfully transitioned the company from paper to online open enrollment and implemented an HR website using ADP. In 2012, Jennifer joined Don Jacobs as a Human Resources Manager, where they were responsible for managing all HR functions for the dealership, including benefits administration, recruitment, training, and conflict management. Jennifer then joined Blue Grass Airport in 2014 as a Human Resources Manager, where they eventually advanced to the positions of Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources. Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated expertise in HR procedures, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.

Jennifer Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Psychology from Centre College between 1987 and 1991. Jennifer then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources, obtaining their M.P.A. from the University of Kentucky from 1996 to 1998. Jennifer also holds additional certifications, including the SHRM-SCP from SHRM, which they obtained in March 2018, and the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI, which they obtained in May 2002.
