Leonardo Canela

Leonardo Canela has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Leonardo started their career in 2016 as an Optimization Engineer at AlticeDo, where they worked for over a year. In 2017, they joined the National Comptroller's Office as a Software Engineer until 2018. Leonardo then pursued further education and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2020. Following that, they joined Grupo Humano as a Data Scientist from 2020 to 2022. Leonardo then transitioned to Fullstack Labs as a Software Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working as a Data Engineer at Blue Orange Digital starting from May 2023.

Leonardo Canela received their Grado en Ingeniería in Ingeniería de telecomunicaciones from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Following that, they pursued a Diplomatura in Tecnología/Técnico de telecomunicaciones at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, attending from 2016 to 2017. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, Leonardo pursued a Master of Science - MS in Ciencias de la computación from Rochester Institute of Technology.
