Michael Menendez

Michael Menendez is the Vice President of Engineering at Blue Planet Energy. Michael has over two decades of experience in product design and development, rapid prototyping, manufacturing, and operations. Prior to joining Blue Planet Energy, Michael was the Co-Founder and CTO of Volta Industries, where they bootstrapped and launched the company through their garage. Michael has also served as the Founder and Advisor of the Electric Vehicle Association of Hawaii.

Michael Menendez has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Michael also has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Lastly, they have a degree in Science and Technology from Mid Pacific Institute.

They work with Blake Ramos - Manufacturing Manager, Lori Ann Saunders - Regional Sales Manager - Hawaii, and Gabriel Perez - Regional Sales Manager - Puerto Rico. Their manager is Christopher Johnson, Chief Executive Officer.
