Mary Young

Mary Young is a seasoned professional in growth planning and sales performance, currently serving as a Senior Principal at Blue Shield of California since October 2020. In this role, Mary develops and drives go-to-market strategies for national accounts, public sector, and labor and trust businesses in the large employer segment. Previously, Mary held various leadership positions at Cigna from 2013 to 2020, including Vice President of National Accounts, where Mary managed client relationships and directed strategic initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as a Partner at Mercer from 2007 to 2013, where Mary developed health plan strategies for Fortune 100 companies. Mary holds a Master's degree in Health Planning and Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pennsylvania State University.
