Amy Radican-Wald, DrPH has extensive work experience in public health policy and analysis. Amy currently serves as the Health Policy Director at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for Mississippi Health Policy, where they tracked and monitored health policy developments and conducted statistical analysis to inform policy makers. Amy also worked as a Technical Consultant at the Mosquito Illness Alliance and served as a Governing Council & Region IV Representative at the American Public Health Association. Amy has also held leadership positions, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Public Health Association and the Huntcliff Homeowners Association. Amy has contributed to numerous organizations and initiatives related to public health and healthcare advocacy.

Amy Radican-Wald, DrPH has an extensive education history. Amy began their academic journey at Meridian Community College from 1995 to 1998, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Pre-Medicine. Amy further pursued their studies at The University of Southern Mississippi from 1998 to 2000, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Forensic Science.

Seeking advanced knowledge in the field of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Amy went on to complete a Master of Public Health degree at The University of Southern Mississippi from 2000 to 2002. Building upon their expertise, they then pursued a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree at Jackson State University, specializing in Epidemiology. This comprehensive program spanned from 2005 to 2016.

Throughout their educational journey, Amy Radican-Wald has consistently focused on developing a deep understanding of epidemiology and its related disciplines.
