Shara Narsipur

Shara Narsipur is a communicator and advocate for climate sustainability. As Creative Content Editor, she manages the Eat Blue™ educational platform, promoting sustainable seafood and ocean optimism, with a focus on ocean health, human health, animal welfare and economic impact.

After receiving her B.S. in Business Administration at SUNY Geneseo, she leaped into the world of content marketing as Director of Writers for a NYC content creation firm. Editing and content creation have taken Shara around the world. Managing projects remotely, she has traveled 6 out of 7 continents and witnesses the crisis surrounding sustainability. In 2018, she transitioned to work in environmental science through the Stanford University Environmental and Water Studies Certification.

Shara is the Program Coordinator for San Diego’s BlueTech Incubator and has successfully coordinated two BlueTech Week Conferences through TMA BlueTech – San Diego’s Ocean/Water Technology Industry Association. She has worked closely with contacts at numerous government agencies and maintains relationships with ocean/water tech companies worldwide. Shara brings this breadth of knowledge, along with her background in communications and startup development, to her work at BlueNalu and Eat Blue™.
