Sara Seabourne has worked in the Human Resources field since 2006. Sara began their career at Modis as a Recruiter and Business Development Manager, where they were responsible for strategic sales territory planning, recruiting and networking, human resource management, daily interview coordination, client and consultant management, and more. In 2011, they moved to Ramp Technology Group as a Recruitment Account Executive, where they provided Microsoft with a liaison between clients and consultants, and drove recruitment strategy and consultant management. In 2012, they joined BlueKai as an HR Business Partner. In 2014, they became the Head of Human Resources at Author-it Software Corporation, where they were responsible for global HR strategy and operations, change management, leadership coaching, talent management, performance improvement, and more. In 2016, they became an Independent Consultant, providing a myriad of technology companies in the greater Seattle area with HR consulting services. In 2019, they joined Hitch Works, Inc. as the Head of People, where they were responsible for creating an internal marketplace that created a culture of inclusivity, learning, growth and engagement. Finally, in 2021, they joined BlueOcean as the Head of People and Culture, where they are leading the People function and driving the People strategy.

Sara Seabourne obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Spring Hill College between 1999 and 2003. In 2012, they obtained a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they obtained a SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. Finally, in 2016, they obtained a Certified Stroller Strides and Fit4Baby Instructor certification from FIT4MOM.
