HR Advisor

In this role, you will proactively support the operation of the business by providing an effective and professional HR service covering the full generalist remit across a dedicated coverage. You will ensure that high standards are adopted within all elements of HR, by being an initial point of contact for managers and employees within the dedicated coverage, developing key stakeholder relationships. 

You will work collaboratively across our HR teams to ensure a smooth engagement with all internal stakeholders.

The Base

Join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art office located in the heart of Tbilisi! In 2023, we proudly opened our new workspace, bringing together a close-knit community of approximately 50 talented individuals.

What you’ll do

  • Manage HR responsibilities for specific teams, building strong relationships within these areas.
  • Advise line managers on strategic HR matters, including hiring, performance management, talent management, employee relations, resourcing, and employee development.
  • Support core HR functions as well as manage administrative tasks (i.e. reporting, data entry).
  • Coach employees and line managers on goal setting, feedback, and conducting performance appraisals/employee check-ins.
  • Support and advise on organization design changes, including articulating the value, steps, risks, and expected results.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across Schroders and BlueOrchard to review and update policies and processes in line with legislation and best practices, while generating ideas for improvements.
  • Partner with HR and finance colleagues on compensation operations, including benchmarking and survey participation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely provision of payroll data, enabling accurate administration of salary payments and benefits coverage.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement with a focus on cost efficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Advocate for diverse and inclusive practices and policies, contributing to the company's goal of becoming the employer of choice in the Georgian Financial Services industry.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably with specialization in HR or related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR Generalist role and experience of working in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • An ability to build relationships with employees, with a high degree of empathy while being able to maintain a strong business focus.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and the proven ability to develop commercially focused solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of Georgian Employment Law and evidence of practical application.
