Jim Mitsonis

Jim Mitsonis has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jim began their career at Singtel Optus as a Commercial Manager from 2000 to 2002. Jim then joined Amcor as a Divisional Commercial Manager from 2002 to 2011. Jim later joined BlueScope, where they held various positions including Manager Finance - Performance, Reporting & Risk from 2011 to 2016, Vice President Internal Audit from 2016 to 2019, Chief Financial Officer - BlueScope China from 2019 to 2021, Vice President Finance Projects from 2021 to 2022, and currently serves as the Vice President Business Integration North America at BlueScope. Additionally, they also served as a Non-Executive Board Member at AustCham Shanghai from 2020 to 2021.

Jim Mitsonis obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree in Commerce/Finance from the University of Melbourne between 1985 and 1987. Jim later completed the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand program from 1989 to 1991, earning the CA qualification.
