Rick Verhoestra, PMP, CSM

Rick Verhoestra has extensive work experience as a Senior Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Business Analyst. Rick has worked as a Senior Project Manager at BlueSky Commerce since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant from 2018 to 2022, holding roles such as Senior Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Business Analyst. Rick served as a Senior Project Manager at Advanced Resources Inc. from March 2019 to September 2019, where they were responsible for the GDPR Assessment Project. Rick also worked as a Scrum Master and Senior Project Manager at Populus Group from June 2018 to December 2018, leading the creation of the Activity Schedule Designer software application. Before that, they served as a Senior Project Manager at Perficient from August 2015 to March 2018, leading the SharePoint 2010 to Office 365 SharePoint Online Migration Project. Rick also worked as a Senior Project Manager - Consultant at Princeton Information in 2015 and as a Project Management Consultant at Fusion Alliance from September 2011 to October 2014. Furthermore, they have experience as an IS Manager and Senior Project Manager at the State of Indiana from October 2007 to September 2011 and as a Senior Project Manager for the State of Indiana for TEKsystems in 2007. Rick started their career as a Project Manager and Sr. Business Analyst at Freedom Mortgage Corporation (formerly Irwin Mortgage Corporation) from October 2003 to February 2007, where they managed the integration of information systems.

Rick Verhoestra, PMP, CSM, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Technology/Management Information Systems from Purdue University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in April 2012. Rick Verhoestra is also currently in the process of obtaining the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
