Erkut Bahceci

Erkut Bahceci has worked in a variety of roles in the healthcare industry since 1995. Erkut began their career as a Clinical Associate at the National Institutes of Health, followed by an Assistant Professor role at Yale University School of Medicine from 2000-2007. Erkut then held an Associate Director role at Bayer HealthCare from 2007-2008 and a Director role at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2008-2010. From 2010-2020, they worked at Astellas Pharma US, first as a Vice President Medical Science-Hematology, then as an Executive Medical Director, and finally as a Senior Medical Director. Since 2020, they have been employed at Takeda Oncology as Senior Vice President & Head of Oncology Development and Vice President & Head of Clinical Science. Most recently, they were appointed Chief Medical Officer at BlueSphere Bio in 2023.

Erkut Bahceci received their MD from Marmara University between 1983 and 1990, studying Medicine.
