Vivek Thakkar

Vivek Thakkar is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture, primarily at Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd. and BlueStacks. At BlueStacks, Vivek has been a Senior Software Engineer since September 2015, focusing on various layers of virtualization software and Android middleware. Prior to this, Vivek held multiple roles at Intel, from Software Engineer to Lead Engineer, where responsibilities included defining software architecture for Trusted Execution Environment on x86 platforms and leading the development of Power and Performance tools. Vivek also gained earlier experience at companies such as NVIDIA, Hughes Software Systems, and Aricent Software Systems, contributing to embedded software and network performance testing. Education includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, completed in 2008.
