Kalpana Garg has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. Kalpana started their career in 2000 as a Software QA Engineer at Intel Corporation, where they worked on projects such as Content Management and XSLT Templates and Disti Design Win. Kalpana then joined Microsoft in 2004 as a Software QA Engineer (Consultant) for the Partners Portal and Content Management System project. In 2008, they moved to Getty Images as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), responsible for functional, regression, and system testing. Later that year, they joined Microsoft again as a Software QA Engineer (Consultant). In 2008, Kalpana joined Vertafore as a Software QA Lead, working on the FinancePro management system. Kalpana'sresponsibilities included managing resources, collaborating with multiple teams, and planning test strategies. Kalpana also automated UI tests using C# and WatiN and developed SQL scripts for data validation. In 2014, Kalpana joined Bluetooth SIG as a QA Lead, where they established the first generation of foundation test frameworks and served as a Project Manager/Scrum Master, facilitating communication between key stakeholders and organizing agile ceremonies. Throughout their career, Kalpana has consistently demonstrated their expertise in various testing methodologies and tools, as well as their ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Kalpana Garg's education history begins with their Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Rajasthan, which they obtained from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they pursued an Honor's Diploma in Advanced Systems Management from Information Computer Systems in Jaipur, India, from 1992 to 1995. In 1999 to 2000, they attended Portland Community College, where they completed Advanced Computer Courses in the field of Computer Science.
In addition to their formal education, Kalpana Garg has also obtained two certifications. In October 2019, they received the "Cert Prep: Certified Scrum Master" certification from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in September 2019, they acquired the "Scrum: Advanced" certification, also from LinkedIn.
