Danny McLeish

Danny Mcleish has extensive experience in the field of catastrophe analytics and modeling. Danny is currently the UK Catastrophe Analytics Lead at BMS Group, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at McGill and Partners from April 2021 to November 2023. From September 2015 to April 2021, Danny served as a Senior Catastrophe Modelling Analyst at MS Amlin. Before that, they worked as a Catastrophe Modelling Analyst at JLT Group from February 2013 to August 2015. Danny's early career includes roles as a Hydrologist at RPS Group from April 2008 to February 2013 and as a Graduate Numerical Modeller at Royal Haskoning from April 2007 to April 2008. Their expertise includes analyzing potential catastrophic non-marine losses and conducting flood risk assessments.

Danny Mcleish completed their Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Oceanography and Marine Biology from the University of Southampton in the years 2001 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Science in Environmental Coastal Engineering at the same university from 2005 to 2007.
