Jim May

Jim May is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in museum administration and strategic planning. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at the Boca Raton Museum of Art, Jim May oversees the museum's administrative, financial, and operational activities while collaborating with leadership to achieve strategic goals. Previous roles include Deputy Director of Communications and Strategic Planning and Associate Director of Development at the same institution, as well as Executive Director at Hoosier Salon. Jim May also held leadership positions at Briljent, directing training and content for 1-800 Medicare services, and at the Indiana State Museum, where Jim May managed significant exhibition projects and interpretive programs. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Arts from Indiana University Bloomington and a BFA in Painting from the University of Evansville.
