Artem Artemov

Principal Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim

Artem Artemov has a diverse and extensive work experience. Artem is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim since April 2022. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Medical University of Vienna from October 2018 to March 2022. Artem also worked as a Visiting Researcher at Karolinska Institutet from March 2018 to October 2018. Prior to that, Artem served as the Director of Drug Repurposing at Insilico Medicine, Inc from May 2014 to March 2018. Artem was a PhD student at Moscow State University from September 2011 to March 2018, and a Researcher at the Institute for Problems of Information Transmission from August 2011 to May 2014. Additionally, they were a RECESS fellow at HelmholtzZentrum München from October 2011 to December 2011, and an Exchange Student at Leiden University from August 2010 to May 2011.

Artem Artemov holds a PhD in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), which they obtained between 2011 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed a master's degree in bioinformatics at the same university from 2006 to 2011. Artemov has also obtained certifications, including the NVIDIA DLI Certificate in Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing with CUDA C/C++ from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute in 2020, and the ENCCS Advanced Deep Learning with Transformers / Graph Neural Networks and Transformers certification from EuroCC National Competence Centre Sweden.
