Pallabi Mitra

Senior Principal Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim

Pallabi Mitra has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and research institutions. Pallabi started their career in 2001 as an M.S. at the Department of Industrial Pharmacy at the University of Toledo. Pallabi then worked as a research intern at Cephalon in 2006. After that, they pursued a PhD at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Kansas, where they focused on determining a placental cell line as a suitable model for sulfotransferase enzymes. Following their PhD, Pallabi worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Pharmaceutics at Virginia Commonwealth University. Pallabi then joined National Jewish Health as a post-doctoral research fellow. In 2011, they joined GlaxoSmithKline as an Investigator until 2015. Currently, Pallabi is working at Boehringer Ingelheim, initially as a Principal Scientist and now as a Senior Principal Scientist.

Pallabi Mitra holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Kansas. Pallabi also obtained a B.S. in Pharmacy from Jadavpur University and an M.S. in Pharmaceutics from The University of Toledo.
