Dan Curran is the Senior Director, Public Affairs & Advocacy Communications, Government Operations at Boeing. Prior to joining Boeing, Curran spent four years at the Podesta Group, a leading public relations and international affairs firm in Washington, D.C., where they provided a full range of strategic communications counsel and support for defense industry, sovereign government and internationally-focused non-profit and corporate clients.

Curran began their career in politics as an intern for CNN's Political Unit during the 2008 election cycle. Dan then went on to intern for several members of the United States Senate, including Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senators Sheldon Whitehouse and Jack Reed. In 2009, they joined Senator Reed's staff as Deputy Press Secretary.

In addition to their work in the Senate, Curran also interned on Senator Reed's successful 2008 re-election campaign and was a Staff Assistant in the Office of the RI Senate President.

Dan Curran earned their Bachelor of Arts in Political Communications from The George Washington University. Dan then went on to earn their Master of Professional Studies in Political Management from the same school.
