Bryan Shin has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Bryan'smost recent position was as the Chief Executive Officer at Bonchon, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Global CFO and Head of International for Bonchon from January 2019 to April 2023. Before joining Bonchon, Bryan was the Korea Head of Goose Island Restaurant Business at Goose Island Beer Company in 2018. Bryan also held the position of Executive Vice President at CJ Foodville from 2016 to 2017. Bryan's earlier experience includes working at YUM! Brands - Asia Franchise from 2007 to 2015 in the area of Business Development and Strategic Planning. Bryan began their professional career at Ford Motor Company in 2001, where they worked in Pricing and Strategy until 2007. Prior to that, Bryan gained experience in Banking and M&A Analysis at Citibank from 1998 to 1999.

Bryan Shin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Seoul National University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, obtaining their MBA degree with a specialization in Finance. Bryan attended Berkeley from 1999 to 2001.
