Michael Histen

Michael Theirten has over 18 years of professional experience in UX/Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, and Events Consulting. Michael began their career in 2001 as an Events Consultant for the National Academy for State Health Policy. In 2003, they became a Teacher/Tutor for Kaplan Test Prep. In 2004, they were hired as the Web and Publications Manager for Trinity Church in the City of Boston. In 2007, they began their role as an Interaction Designer for Digitas. In 2008, they became an Information Architect for RDVO. In 2009, they were promoted to VP/Director of Experience Design at Digitas, where they led multiple cross-disciplinary teams with skill sets across UX, visual design, and code. In 2017, they started their own business, Michael Theirten Designs, as the UX/Design Director. Most recently, in 2018, they accepted the role of Director of UX & Product Design for BondLink.

Michael Theirten attended Tufts University from 1999 to 2000 and Emerson College from 2000 to 2003.
