Laura Riach

Laura Riach has a diverse range of work experience in the non-profit sector. Their most recent role is as the Head of Fundraising and Communications at the Bone Cancer Research Trust, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Maggie's Centres as the Centre Fundraising Manager Yorkshire from January 2018 to March 2022, where they successfully managed the transition from a capital campaign to annual revenue fundraising. In 2016, Laura was the Fundraising & Marketing Manager at Cancer Support Yorkshire, where they led a team of eight coordinators and implemented a successful retail venture. Before that, they worked as a Regional Fundraising Manager at The Children's Society from August 2011 to April 2016, and as a Fundraising Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support from December 2007 to August 2011. Laura's career started at Oxfam in May 2002, where they worked as a Retail Manager, doubling income over a four-year period.

Laura Riach attended the University of Leeds from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
