Matti Karhu

Matti Karhu has a diverse work experience that spans over 18 years. Matti is currently the Head of Development at Book Salon, a position they have held since January 2023. Before that, they were a Senior Product Manager at Qvantel, where they focused on customer care and call center activities in the telecommunications industry. Matti also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Qvantel. Prior to Qvantel, Matti was a Co-Founder and Senior Platform Specialist at Grain Village Studios, where they developed games, applications, and back-end solutions. Matti has also worked as a Game Developer at Star Arcade, specializing in integrating games across multiple platforms and maintaining core features. Matti began their career at Digia as a Senior Software Engineer and Testing Lead, working on quality assurance projects for Maemo and MeeGo. Matti also worked briefly as a Software Engineer at Jamix Oy and as a Conscript Trainer for the Finnish Defence Forces.
