Anthony (Tosh) Szatow has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Anthony (Tosh) is currently working at Flow Power as the Technical Solutions Development Manager. In this role, they collaborate with customers to implement customized energy strategies, incorporating renewable energy infrastructure, power purchasing agreements, and demand response initiatives.
Prior to their current role, Szatow was involved in various ventures. Anthony (Tosh) founded Good Ideas Factory, a platform that aims to bring together climate solutions and capital, and co-founded BOOMPower, a SaaS platform that streamlines the delivery of energy projects. Anthony (Tosh) also served as the Sustainability Director at APD Projects, where they focused on carbon footprint analysis, developing strategies for carbon neutral development goals, and exploring the role of energy storage.
Anthony (Tosh) co-founded Can We Dig It? Yes We Can!, an independent campaign focused on unlocking the value of battery metals in Australia. Szatow was also the Director and Co-Founder of Energy for the People, a Certified B Corp that works towards accelerating the transition to a clean energy market. Additionally, they co-founded The People's Solar, a crowd-funding platform for solar projects that reinvests energy bill savings to build community resilience.
Before these ventures, Szatow worked at CSIRO as a Project Leader, where they researched new business models for distributed energy. Anthony (Tosh) also worked as a Policy Officer at Consumer Utilities Advocacy Centre, focusing on energy and environment policy in relation to consumer interests.
Throughout their career, Szatow has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing clean energy solutions, developing innovative business models, and advocating for consumer and environmental interests in the energy sector.
Anthony (Tosh) Szatow began their education in 2000 at the University of Sydney, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Science. Anthony (Tosh) completed their studies in this field in 2003. In the same year, they also obtained a degree in Economics and Social Science from the University of Sydney.
Continuing their academic journey, Szatow enrolled in RMIT University in 2006. For the next three years, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering. During this time, their focus was on sustainable energy, specializing in this field of study.
