James Arrow

James is Managing Director for Boots Opticians. Appointed in May 2019, James is responsible for leading the Boots Opticians business and strategy.

Previously, James held the position of Ecommerce and Direct Sales Director at Dixons Carphone. During the merger of Dixons and Carphone Warehouse, James took the opportunity to be part of the integration team and led the Head Office build and move programme for the newly formed business.

James has also has held numerous transformation and operational roles between 2007 and 2019, originally as a Regional Manager in Supply Chain for Currys. His career began as a graduate in grocery retail for Asda, working across all elements of the supply chain and logistics function before moving into an independently owned plumbing and heating distributor, learning how small organisations survive.
