Dick Ingelsbo

Dick Ingelsbo has extensive work experience in the field of IT security, risk management, and control. Dick is currently serving as the Head of IT security, risk & control at Borgo since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Newsec as the Head of IT & Information Security from February 2021 to April 2023. Before that, they worked at TietoEVRY as the Lead Security Manager for their Business & Industry Compliance Platforms from September 2017 to February 2021.

From May 2014 to August 2017, they held the position of Head of Group Security / Chief Security Officer at FOREX Bank. Additionally, they also worked as a Security Manager in Sweden for FOREX Bank from August 2010 to May 2014.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Senior Security Consultant at IN CASEC AB, a Technical Security Consultant at Confidence Security Sweden AB, and a Nordic Product Manager (Retail Security) at ADT. Dick also worked as a Project Leader for Scandianvian/International Security Media at AR Media International AB and as a Region Manager in Stockholm at Skanska Security Systems AB.

Dick Ingelsbo started their career in 1996 at Elektroskandia Sverige where they held the position of Technical Sales / Project Leader & Business Development, focusing on Telecom, Data, and Security until November 2000.

Dick Ingelsbo's education history is as follows:

In 1987 to 1989, they attended Finnvedens Gymnasium (FIGY) where they pursued the field of study in El- och teleteknisk utbildning.

In 2003, they obtained a Security Director Diploma (similar to CPP) / Säkerhetschefsutbildning – Diplomutbildning from Företagsuniversitetet in the field of Security Management.

In 2005, they completed an IT & Information Security Education course from VM-Data (today CGI).

In 2009, they participated in an ASIS CPP Study Group organized by Security Manager.

In 2011, they pursued Operational risks in the financial sector at a Business education institution.

In 2014, they attended FSPOS (Financial Sector Private & Public Cooperation) for a Business Continuity Management program.

In 2017, they completed the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management course from Tieturi.

In the same year, they took the Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) program at FIREBRAND Nordic, focusing on Privacy and Information Security.

In 2018, they pursued a PCI DSS Course from Nixu in the field of Information Security.

In 2019, they completed the CISM Exam Preparation Course at ISACA Sweden Chapter, specializing in Information Security.

Additional Certifications:

In December 2017, Dick Ingelsbo obtained the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.

In January 2018, they obtained the PECB Certified Data Protection Officer certification from PECB.
