Minck Hermans

Minck Hermans has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Minck is currently the Co-Founder and COO of VonWood, a digital timber marketplace aimed at making the wood industry more accessible and sustainable. Prior to this, they co-founded borofree, a platform that helps employees manage their wages and avoid debt. Their roles in these companies demonstrate their entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Minck worked at ING, where they held positions in Syndicated Finance, Western European Corporates, and Capital Markets. These roles gave him experience in financial analysis and corporate finance. Additionally, they were a Project Member in the Innovation and FinTech Workstream at ING Nederland, where they facilitated innovation within the organization and mapped the FinTech landscape.

Minck also has experience as an Assistant Sales Manager at FOBISS B.V., a technology and software supplier to the retail and banking industry. Minck was responsible for managing accounts in the Netherlands, showcasing their sales and relationship management abilities.

Beyond their professional experience, Minck served as the President of UNISCA, demonstrating their leadership skills. Minck also played hockey for SCHC Bilthoven and held an internship role at Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal.

Minck then went on to study at Utrecht University from 2006 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. In 2013, they attended Leiden University, completing their education with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Politics, Society, and Economy of Asia in 2014.
