Eray Akdag

Eray Akdag is the Public Policy and Corporate Relations Director at Borusan Holding, leading the Borusan Group EU Green Deal and Decarbonization Thematic Working Group since April 2019. Akdag is responsible for public and stakeholders engagement, drafting regulations, and coordinating policy positions across various Borusan Group companies. Prior to this role, Akdag served as the Permanent Representative in Ankara for TÜSİAD from August 2003 to April 2019, managing relations with the Turkish Parliament and leading teams in legislative advocacy. Akdag's academic credentials include multiple Master's degrees from Ankara University and an Executive Leadership certificate from Cornell University, as well as teaching experience at Ankara University and TOBB ETU. Akdag has also been active in community initiatives, notably as the Founding Curator of the Ankara Hub for Global Shapers Community.
