Andrew Perkins has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew began their career as a Research Assistant at the London Health Sciences Centre, where they gained experience in research and data presentation. Andrew then worked as a Product Development Engineering Student at Ford Motor Company's St. Thomas Assembly Plant before transitioning to the Canadian Headquarters, where they served as an Analyst in Government Relations and Strategic Planning. Andrew also worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a Pricing Analyst in Government and Economic Affairs.
Continuing their career in the automotive industry, Perkins joined Sobeys Ontario as a Business Analyst in Category Management before joining Ford Motor Company's Oakville Assembly Complex as a Product Development Engineer in Wind and Road Noise. Andrew then served in marketing roles at SIR Corp, where they were a Marketing Assistant, and at BOS Innovations Inc., where they were a Sales and Marketing Manager.
At BOS Innovations Inc., Perkins also held positions as an Automation Project Manager, where they were responsible for project profitability and customer satisfaction, a Director of Technology (R&D and Solutions), and later assumed the role of Director of Technology Development.
Additionally, Perkins has a passion for motorsports and worked as a Racecar Driver for the Perkins Racing Team.
Throughout their career, Perkins has demonstrated their skills in research, data analysis, project management, marketing, and technology development.
Andrew Perkins has a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western University. Andrew also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from McMaster University, with a specialization in Strategic Marketing from the DeGroote School of Business, Co-op program. Additionally, they have obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org.
