Rafael Philippini

Rafael Philippini has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Their most recent position was as a Lead Biotechnologist at Bosque Foods, starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Monitor Educacional at Laureate Education, Inc. from November 2020 to May 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Post-doc researcher in Industrial Biotechnology at the Universidade de São Paulo - Escola de Engenharia de Lorena. Before that, from 2013 to 2017, Rafael worked as a Doctoral Researcher, focusing on the production of biomolecules using agroindustrial waste. Rafael also has experience as a Virtual Tutor at Instituto Unibanco and an Educational Monitor at Fundação Faculdade de Medicina. Earlier in their career, Rafael worked as a Master Researcher at Universidade de São Paulo - Escola de Engenharia de Lorena, a Trainee/Educational Monitor at Instituto OIKOS de Agroecologia, and a Trainee at Prefeitura Municipal de Lorena.

Rafael Philippini completed their education in a sequential manner. Rafael started by obtaining their bachelor's degree in Biology with a specialization in Licenciatura em Biologia from UNIFATEA - Centro Universitário Teresa D'Ávila. Rafael attended this institution from 2005 to 2008. Afterwards, they pursued a master's degree in Applied Microbiology from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they continued their studies at USP and obtained a doctoral degree in Applied Microbiology, specializing in Microbiologia aplicada, Produção de exopolissacarídeos, Hidrolisados de subprodutos agrícolas. Rafael completed their doctoral program from 2013 to 2017.
