Victor Simental, PMP, CSM has a strong background in information technology and project management. Victor has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Victor started their career at Optis - Illuminate Your People Data, where they served as a Customer Service Representative and later as an Account Representative. Victor then moved on to become an Implementation Specialist and an Implementation Manager, where they worked closely with clients to implement Optis services. Victor also served as a Senior Implementation Manager, where they managed standardized service implementations and ensured that services were delivered according to Optis' design and quality standards. Victor then became the Manager of Data Solutions, leading a team of Implementation Managers and streamlining processes. Afterward, they became the Director of Client Services, where they provided valuable insights to clients and helped identify their business needs.

Victor then joined Onyx Data Solutions as a Project Lead, working with clients to execute their business strategies through analysis, project management, program implementation, and IT development. Victor later became the Director of IT PMO, managing an IT project portfolio and implementing project standards. Finally, they served as the Vice President of Information Technology, overseeing IT operation functions and executing strategic goals to standardize operations.

Currently, Victor works at Boston Mutual Life Insurance as the Sr. Director of Information Technology. In this role, they lead IT Operations teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-availability, and secure technology to the organization. Victor also serves as the Director of Business Applications Support, responsible for leading and managing the team supporting the company's key business applications.

Victor Simental, PMP, CSM, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming, which they earned from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degree, Victor has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in various fields. Victor obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in May 2013. Victor also holds a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in April 2017. Victor achieved a Consulting Skills Certificate from ATD Education in September 2017 and became a Smartsheet Certified User in February 2017. In September 2020, Victor obtained the ISO 20000 Foundation - IT Service Certification from PeopleCert. Furthermore, they completed a course on Project Management Foundations: Stakeholders provided by LinkedIn in December 2018.
