Alexander Widmann

Alexander Widmann has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as a Mate at Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. since January 2018. As Captain at Marine Towing of Tampa since September 2005, Alexander operates a 5000HP ASD Z Drive Reverse Tractor Tug, engaging in ship docking, dry docking, salvage work, and collaboration with Tampa fire department for fire monitoring. Additionally, as a Relief Captain for the Tampa Bay Pilots Association since January 2002, Alexander oversees the operation of three pilot boats under demanding conditions. Alexander also holds the position of Vice President at Von Widmann Designs, contributing to design work and sea trials, while previous experience includes roles as AB/Deckhand at Seabulk Towing Inc. and OS at Edison Chouest Offshore. Alexander is educated through Maritime Professional Training.
