Samantha Z. Kasmarek

Samantha Z. Kasmarek has extensive work experience in the legal field. Beginning in 2000, they worked as an intern at O'Hara O'Connell & Ciotoli (formerly O'Hara & O'Connell), followed by a summer associate position at the same firm in 2002. In 2003, they served as a summer associate at Barclay Damon (formerly Hiscock & Barclay, LLP). From 2004 to 2007, they worked as an associate at the firm. In 2007, they joined Syracuse University College of Law as an associate director in the Office of Career Services, a role they held until 2021. During this time, they also served as the interim director of the Office of Career Services & Externships from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are the director of attorney recruitment and development at Bousquet Holstein PLLC, starting in April 2021.

Samantha Z. Kasmarek received their J.D. degree in Law from the University at Buffalo, where they attended from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned their B.A. degree in History, with a minor in Elementary Education, from Le Moyne College, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained the certification of being Admitted to Practice - New York State from the NYS Court - Appellate Division 4th Dep't in 2005.
