Nancy Espetveidt

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, a master’s certificate in early childhood education from the University of Calgary and a master’s degree in language and literacy from the University of Victoria. She has worked as a program coordinator in the non-for-profit sector in out-of-school care and early childhood literacy and taught with Rocky View Schools for 10 years, seven of which she spent teaching kindergarten. Nancy received the Edwin Parr Teacher Award for excellence in teaching and recently, she spoke at the BC TEAL (Teachers of English as an Additional Language) conference at UBC on playfully building foundational early literacy skills.
