Christina A. Martinez

Christina Martinez joined Boxer Capital, LLC in 2019. As Vice President of Operations, Mrs. Martinez is responsible for the firm’s operational and management systems, including administration, information technology systems, external communications, recruiting efforts, and the overall coordination between the firm’s front and back offices.

Prior to joining Boxer Capital, Mrs. Martinez served as Executive Director of Immunotherapy Foundation (IF), a public non-profit organization dedicated to catalyzing cancer immunotherapy research. Mrs. Martinez began her work with IF in 2015 as a founding Board member and Treasurer of the organization.

From 2007-2016 Mrs. Martinez led executive office administration for IF’s co-founder, the late activist investor, Ralph V. Whitworth. While working with Mr. Whitworth, Christina also served as Associate Director of Marketing at Relational Investors LLC, an asset management firm and registered investment adviser.

Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University.
