Erin Redding has a diverse work experience. Erin began their professional career as an Intern at Princeton University Office of Development in 2015. In 2017, they worked as a Northern Kenya Conservation Club Intern at Mpala Research Centre and as a Policy Intern at the New Jersey League of Conservation Voters Education Fund. In 2018, they were a Marketing and Social Impact Intern at Hybrid Social Solutions, Inc. (HSSi). During their time at HSSi, they traveled to remote Filipino island communities facing unreliable energy access and captured small-scale solar customer testimonials for the company. Erin also filmed and edited these interviews into three short video narratives and one company AVP. In 2019, they were a Fellow, Sustainable Energy & Puerto Rico at the Environmental Defense Fund. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Project Manager and Project Coordinator at BoxPower.

Erin Redding attended Princeton University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in The Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
