Brandon Williams

Brandon Williams is a dedicated Plant Biology PhD student at Cornell University, with ongoing research experience as a Research Assistant at the Boyce Thompson Institute. Prior educational and professional experiences include roles as a Laboratory Assistant at SUNY Cortland Biology Department, where responsibilities involved dissecting specimens and preparing laboratory tasks, and participation in undergraduate research focused on the growth effects of pink-pigmented facultative methylotrophic bacteria on coleus plants. Additional experiences encompass a variety of positions such as a Resident Assistant overseeing student wellbeing, a Biology Tutor, and internships in plant genome research and fisheries management. Brandon holds a degree from the State University of New York Cortland, completed in 2017.
