Amy Sexton Cfre

Amy Sexton, CFRE has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Amy is currently serving as the Director of RD Club Services at Boys & Girls Clubs of America since March 2023. Prior to this, from February 2022 to March 2023, they worked as a Senior Philanthropic Advisor and Funding Strategist at Convergent Nonprofit Solutions.

Amy has also held multiple roles at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Amy served as a Senior Director of Resource Development Club Consulting from March 2019 to February 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Consultant of RD Club Services from November 2018 to March 2019, and as a Director of Resource Development from June 2015 to November 2018.

Amy's professional experience also includes working as the Chief Executive Officer at AES Consulting from January 2016 to February 2022. Amy played a crucial role in the management and development of the organization during that time.

Prior to AES Consulting, Amy worked as a Major Gifts Officer at Bethesda Lutheran Communities from June 2014 to June 2015, where they were responsible for donor cultivation and communication strategies.

Amy's earlier experience includes working at CCS as the Executive Director from January 2012 to June 2014. In this role, they handled organizational, management, and financial development for multiple parish campaigns. Amy also worked as the Director of Communications at CCS for a brief period in 2012 and as an Associate Director from August 2010 to January 2012.

Amy began their career as an Event Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2009 to January 2010.

Amy Sexton, CFRE, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Prior to their university education, they attended Marist High School from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. In February 2020, Amy received the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International.
