Tia Jackson

Tia Jackson is the Chief Human Resources Officer at BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF SAN ANTONIO. Tia has over 10 years of experience in human resources and has been with the organization for two years. Prior to their current position, they were the Regional Human Resources Manager at THE MEDICAL TEAM from January 2017 to November 2019. In that role, they were responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff in the department, as well as overseeing the daily workflow and providing constructive performance evaluations.

Jackson has a deep understanding of the goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention, and is able to effectively communicate these needs to upper management. Tia is also well-versed in employment law and compliance, and has been instrumental in maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Additionally, they have developed and implemented departmental budgets, facilitated professional development activities for HR staff, and performed other duties as required.
