Lucy Horne

Lucy Horne has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Research Assistant I at Boys Town National Research Hospital since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Team Member at Whole Foods Market from August 2020 to July 2021, where they efficiently filled grocery orders for delivery, helped customers find grocery items, and monitored delivery schedules. From October 2019 to May 2021, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they worked in the Sleep and Inflammation Lab, completed an independent research project, and performed lab procedures such as QPCR, RNA extraction, and tissue collection. From August 2019 to December 2020, they served as a Squad Leader in the Golden Buffalo Marching Band, making decisions alongside other leadership members, communicating concerns to band directors, and resolving conflicts among section members. Lastly, from May 2014 to August 2016, they worked as an Associate at Marcus Theatres, handling large amounts of money, working long hours on their feet, and maintaining a positive attitude while serving customers.

Lucy Horne attended Lincoln Southwest High School from 2012 to 2016 but did not earn a degree or specialize in a particular field of study. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2016 to 2021.
