Surendra Menon

Surendra Menon is an accomplished leader in the field of bancassurance, currently serving as President and CEO of BPI-Philam Life Assurance Corp. since July 2016, where focus is on driving the bancassurance business in partnership with Philam, an AIA Group company. With extensive experience across various roles, Surendra Menon has held positions such as Regional Head of Bancassurance at AIA Group and Chief Distribution Officer at AIA Financial, where responsibilities included managing the development of diverse distribution channels. Prior experience includes pivotal roles in developing the bancassurance business at DBS Bank and launching the first mutual fund in Indonesia at GT Asset Management. Surendra Menon holds a Certificate in Actuarial Techniques from the Institute of Actuaries and a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Macquarie University, further complemented by qualifications in financial planning and investment management.
