Taylor M. Stuart

Taylor Stuart counsels clients on matters involving environmental and natural resources law and policy. Her work extends to regulatory and litigation matters involving the U.S. Department of the Interior and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, in connection with offshore wind development, federal land management, and midstream and downstream energy. Taylor is skilled in administrative procedure before federal agencies and is experienced with a range of federal statutes, including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), the Mineral Leasing Act (MLA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), and the Natural Gas Act (NGA).

Prior to joining Bracewell, Taylor served as a law clerk for the Honorable Micaela Alvarez of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, one of the nation’s busiest federal courts. She also completed internships at various federal agencies, including interning for Secretary of the Interior, Sally Jewell; the Department of the Interior’s Office of the Solicitor; and FERC’s Office of Administrative Litigation.
