Jim Tochterman

VP Research Development at Bradshaw Consulting Services

Jim Tochterman, GISP has over 25 years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing geospatial systems, solutions, and technologies. Jim is one of the co-founders of Bradshaw Consulting Services, Inc. and currently serves as the VP of Research & Development. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of corporate technology vision and development efforts within the organization, including application development, geospatial intelligence and analysis, data migration and interoperability, geodatabase design and implementation, ArcGIS Enterprise configuration, network and systems design services, GIS assessments, implementation plans, project management, and GIS/CAD data migration and interoperability. Before joining Bradshaw Consulting Services, Inc., Jim worked at the CSRA Regional Development Center, where they held the positions of Director of Information and GIS Services and GIS Analyst and Network Administrator.

Jim Tochterman, GISP, obtained a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Georgia Southern University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended Augusta Technical College from 1991 to 1993, earning an AS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

In addition to their educational background, Jim Tochterman has obtained various certifications. Jim became a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) through the GIS Certification Institute in August 2008. Jim also holds the title of Registered Geographic Information System (GIS) Surveyor, accredited by the State of South Carolina in October 2005. Furthermore, they have completed numerous emergency management certifications, including ICS 400 - Advanced ICS for Command & General Staff - Complex Incidents, ICS 300 - Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents, ICS for Single Resources & Initial Action Incident - IS-00200.b, National Response Framework, An Introduction - IS-00800.b, Introduction to Incident Command System - IS-00100.b, and National Incident Management System (NIMS) - IS-00700.a. These certifications were obtained through various institutions, such as the State of Kentucky - Emergency Management Agency and FEMA - Emergency Management Institute. Jim Tochterman also acquired several Esri certifications, specifically Enterprise System Design Associate 10, Enterprise Administration Associate 10, and Enterprise Geodata Management Associate 10, achieved in 2011, 2010, and 2010, respectively.
